Congrats to Kyle, Cade, Eric, Ryan, Evan D, George, Theo, Evan R, JT, Logan, Marshall, Sean, Andrew, Lex, and Max. ------------- 6A - BVN placed 2nd (only finishing 2.5 points behind BVW), SME placed 3rd, SMN 10th, and ONW 13th. ... In top 8 finals: Logan (BVN) - 2nd in 200 free, 5th in 100 free, 1st in both the 200 free relay and 400 free relay. Marshall (BVN) - 3rd in 50 free, 3rd in 100 fly, 1st in 200 free relay, 7th in 200 medley relay. Sean (BVN) - 3rd in 100 free, 4th in 50 free, 1st in both the 200 free relay and 400 free relay. Andrew (SME) - 4th in 100 back, 5th in both the 200 medley relay and 400 free relay. --------------- 5A-1A - BM came in 4th, St. J in 7th, and Basehor-Linwood in 19th. KCSA’s Olivia Smoliga Sprint Freestyle & Backstroke Clinic (Ages 9 to 18). Sat, Nov 24 10:30-12:30 at BVN. $65 2016 USA Olympic gold medalist and 2019 World Championship team member, OLIVIA SMOLIGA, is coming to Kansas City Swim Academy for a special swim clinic! Olivia is well regarded as one of the best sprint freestyle and backstroke athletes in the world. Her start off the blocks is arguably the best in the USA.... This is a great opportunity to work with one of Team USA's top Olympians who is actively training for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. There will be time for photos, autographs and Q&A with Olivia after the clinic. There will be a session for swimmers ages 9 to 18 and is limited to only 45 swimmers total.
