October 2018 - May 2019 season of the KCABMC - always fun.
Hello everyone. Due to inclement weather forecasts, we have decided to cancel our April club meeting which was planned for tomorrow night. We felt that it is better to cancel now than to risk waiting until tomorrow as weather moves in. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Safety is our concern.
Hello folks. We will be meeting this Friday, April 6, 2018. On stage we will have The Mandolin Extravaganza, hosted by Jim McGreevy, Bluegrass Country, and Melissa & Company. Jam rooms will be open as well. Bring a friend and join the fun. Special thanks as always to al, of you and to our sponsors: Bradford & Franzke’s Fret Shop, Mandolin Cafe, Wyatt’s Violin Repair, and Mass Street Music. Dinner this month will be Chicken and noodles with cherry cheese cobbler for desert. Come hungry and leave happy. See you all there.
Hello everyone. We will be meeting this Friday!!! We will be hosting a banjo extravaganza with Jim McGreevy and multiple other talented banjo players. This will be a historical look and multiple banjo styles will be demonstrated. After that, The Oak Mountain Band will take the stage and after that, we will offer our open mic time. As usual, we want to thank our sponsors: Mass Street Music, Mandolin Cafe, Wyatt’s Violin Repair, and Bradford & Franzke’s Fret Shop, for their continued support. Also we thank you all, our members and patrons. Without you, there is no club. See you all on Friday. Doors open at 6:00 and show starts at 7:00.
Happy New Year to everyone!!! A new year and another month of Bluegrass Music to enjoy thanks to all of our members and our sponsors: Mass Street Music, The Mandolin Cafe, Wyatt’s Violin Shop, and Bradford and Franzke Fret Shop. This month we will welcome Slim and Curly as well as The Wildwood Boys to our stage. Come and enjoy the stage show and join in one of the jam rooms if you would like to. Can’t wait to see you there. Also remember, if it is slick, we don’t pick. God and weather permitting, we will see you all on Friday 1/5/18. Doors open at 6:00 and the show starts at 7:00. Also a friendly reminder that we must be out of the building before 10:30 so please make it a point to end your jams early enough to be out before that time. We want to be mindful of the staff at the church. Thank you and once again, Happy New Year!!!
Sorry for the late post, folks. I’ve been busy with a family matter. We will meet this Friday night as usual. Our performing band will be Blue Monday!! They will play their bluegrass set and then, after a much deserved break, they will ply for our annual Christmas Sing Along. Come and join the fun. Once again, we want to thank all of our sponsors: Bradford and Franzke’s Fret Shop, Mass Street Music, The Mandolin Cafe, and Wyatt’s Violin Repair. See you all on Friday night. Doors open at 6:00 and the music will start around 7:00.
