Scott Wilson CEO of S. M. Wilson & Co. is set to retire in April after 37 years of service. The announcement is part of a multi-year succession plan and coincides with the company’s 100th anniversary. S. M. Wilson & Co. was founded by Scott’s grandfather in 1921 and in 2014, the firm became 100% employee-owned. Scott’s leadership has given us a solid foundation and we are grateful for his guidance, said Amy Berg, President. Scott has set S. M. Wilson up for success. S. M. Wilson recently partnered with Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis and Jennings School District to develop internships for students interested in the construction industry. Five students from Jennings High School received a six-week paid internship, BUD classes, high school credit and first-hand workforce experience building two homes in south city.
