We get an amazing variety of dogs. That’s one of the things we love about working with pet dogs. There are so many different kinds, colors and sizes. We love them all! Thank you for trusting us with your sweet babies!!
Place means to get up onto an elevated surface and remain there until released. The dog can move, stand up or lay down, but can not get off the elevated surface. We practice this on many types of elevated surfaces with dogs so that not only will they be better at it but also to help build their confidence. Deb did super!
Showing them over and over what we want is the only fair way to really introduce them to commands. We repeat, praise, repeat, praise over and over. All this behind the scenes practice is what gets the solid results. Great job Oreo!
This is so powerful!
We have various items in and around our facility to help make training fun and to practice new things with the dogs. Here our trainer John Mark is practicing with Luna with a few of these fun items. She did awesome!
When you’re at the Kamp you play when you train, you play when you in the dog yard, you play all day! A happy dog is eager to learn. A happy dog will eat better. A happy dog makes us happy. Doggy daycare, boarding, training. Group sessions, board and train, private lessons. Come join the K9 Kamp family!
Where’s Dizzy???
Working with sweet Maggie on loading into the car. She was super timid about getting in and out. This is how we help dogs through that. Great job Mags!!
And seriously don’t pack your pup! Send him to us for boarding!!
All day every day. Our bonus pay is kisses, kisses, and more kisses. If your dog doesn’t love your trainer then it will he harder for your dog to learn. Likewise if your trainer doesn’t love your dog!
Milo is a 2 year old Brittany Spaniel. He was recently adopted by his family and brought to us for help with leash manners, basic command help, and impulse control. He is working on his place command here while a client is checking in her dog. He did super!
Abe is about to graduate from our Dog Everyone Can Love program. He’s a young Australian Shepard and did super with us! Here he is working on mastering his leash walking. We are super proud of him and excited to see him excel once he goes home.
Do you massage your dog?
Happy Monday! We are ready for another fun filled week at the Kamp! Are you wondering if your dog is a good fit for our daycare, boarding or training? We offer free evaluations. Reach out to us for more info.
Literally this all day long in the play yard. Your dog needs to play with friends just like you do! We have indoor and outdoor space and options to bathe your buddy before he comes home. Message us for more info
This is beautiful, energetic, fun loving, super cuddly Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Kay. Kay is K9 Kamp’s family dog and lives on the farm with Jim and Carrie and the kids. Her favorite pastime is running non stop for no apparent reason and cuddling on the couch. She may one day be the mama to some gorgeous Whoodle babies
