In most cases, life insurance benefits are completely income tax free.
Credit card debt can be eliminated from the stressors list. Life insurance benefits are often used to pay off debit, and can have a huge impact on your family’s finances.
Many families must alter future plans when they can no longer count on the paycheck of a loved one. Life insurance can ensure your family doesn’t have to change one detail about that upcoming dream wedding.
Business can carry on as usual. Life insurance is a great benefit to small business owners. Proceeds can be used to keep everything running smoothly during very difficult times of loss and beyond.
Secure the gift of knowledge. Many life insurance policy holders want to send a loved one to college even if they might not be here anymore. Life insurance is a great way to put that plan into place.
Purchasing a life insurance policy for a child or grandchild is a great way to ensure they have access to life insurance throughout their life despite unforeseeable future health issues.
Life insurance benefits can keep your family in the family home by protecting your mortgage. If you owe on a mortgage and your family can no longer count on your income to make payments, life insurance can replace this need.

Let's knock hunger out of the park! Tomorrow marks the official closing of our fifth annual Home Run Against Hunger campaign. Please join us in serving the community we call home. We'll share totals soon!
We all remember the destruction of the Joplin tornado on May 22, 2011 and the devastating tornado outbreak last year. The Joplin storm alone caused more than $1 billion in property damage and had an untold impact on families in the area. For one Missourian, Rita, the tornado was doubly destructive: it ravaged both her new house and the old home she’d shared with her husband of 52 years, who had recently passed away. Rita needed a hand, and my fellow Missouri Farm Bureau Insurance agent, Mark, was there just like I'm here for you. Read Rita's story: https://www.mofbinsurance.com/HomeFarm/joplin-tornado
