MASKS ON::: In accordance with the City of Joplin's mask mandate that was passed last night, the following mask requirements have been made: 1. Masks must be worn at ALL times while inside a gym watching a game. 2. Players and coaches in the bench must be masked up. Players on the floor do not have to mask up. ... You guys are AMAZING! We still have 4 spots not filled for tomorrow. 12:30-1:30 we need two people for Gate and Apparel, 3:30-4:30 we need one person for concession, 4:30-5:30 we need one person for concession. It doesn’t have to be parents who volunteer. If there are older siblings, students in Honor Society who need volunteer hours, etc, they can help too! Thank you so much for helping us make this crazy season successful!!

Picture Schedule:::::: Pictures are this week! We have attached the schedule and the order form to this post. A few things to remember: ... 1. All pictures will be at Joplin HS. 2. Be flexible--the schedule is pretty crazy as we are playing at three different places this week. 3. Be on time--your JYBA player will miss pictures if they are not on time. 4. We will accept credit card, cash, and check (made out to JYBA) for payment. 5. we apologize in advance if you have multiple kids and there are conflicts--please see number 1. Go Eagles!!

End of the Season Tournament::: Some have asked--we WILL have an end of the season tournament on Dec 19. Locations and exact times will be shared after the regular season is over on Dec 12. Plan on all day and go from there.

Another opportunity to pick up basketball pictures is tomorrow night, Friday 12/18, at the Joplin High School basketball game from 4:30-7:30 at Joplin High. We will also have the new JYBA lightweight hoodies for sale. They are $20 cash only.

We have pictures!! Our first picture pickup day will be tomorrow evening from 4:30-6:30pm. Pictures can be picked up at Every BODY fitness located at 2639 E. 32nd street.

JYBA Nation--Please see attached update on our Season. This was not an easy decision to make at all. We know some will disagree, but please know that the best intentions for our community and our JYBA families were at the center of this decision. We look forward to a great 2021 Season.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! There are currently 37 Volunteer Spots that still need filled for games this Saturday, December 5th at East Middle School and Joplin High School. If we don’t get volunteers, we may have to resort to closing down concessions and we do NOT want to have to do that. Please consider volunteering and spreading the word to get more volunteers! Since JYBA is a completely VOLUNTEER ran organization, it is a requirement for every player to have someone volunteer on t...heir behalf at least 2 hours in the concession stand or at the gate/apparel during the season. This year it’s very important to help out since we are having to utilize multiple facilities due to Covid.
