Bundle up and join us this evening at Mercy Park for our mini Kids Christmas Parade and Movie in the Park! The mini parade kicks off at 5:30pm. Once everyone has made a loop around the Holiday Tree Trail, we're going to show "The Grinch" on our inflatable movie screen. The Top Hat will be on site with free hot cocoa and selling their amazing goodies! We'll also be popping popcorn for everyone to enjoy!

Join us Saturday evening at Mercy Park for a mini Kids Christmas Parade and Movie in the Park! We invite kids ages 0-15 (and their parents) to decorate their bikes, wagons, scooters and strollers and ride in a parade around the trail at Mercy Park. The parade is free to participate in (and watch). Click the event below for registration information! After the mini parade, we're going to show "The Grinch" on our inflatable movie screen. The Top Hat will be on site with free hot cocoa and selling their amazing goodies! We'll also be handing out popcorn for you to enjoy while strolling around the park looking at the lights and watching the movie!

Little Dribblers is a four week program where we introduce preschoolers (ages 3-4) to basketball. There are no practices, teams, or formal games. The kids play fun drills and skill games to introduce basic fundamentals. Our 2021 Little Dribblers Basketball starts January 5! Space is limited. 2020 Roll-n-Stroll Activity Challenge No matter how you roll or stroll, let's get moving! We've partnered with Mercy Hospital Joplin to host an activity challenge to close out 2020! The Roll-n-Stroll is a free inclusive activity challenge open to anyone who wants to join! ... To Participate: - Register with Joplin Parks & Recreation - Track at least 5 activities from now until December 31 - Return completed activity tracker to Joplin Parks and Recreation by January 8 Those who track 5 or more activities by December 31 and return their trackers on-time to the Parks and Recreation Department will receive a Roll-n-Stroll t-shirt!
