In our current social climate, tensions between people can be high. Our Chief Instructor, Frass Azab, came face to face with this reality when he recently found himself stopping a man filled with racial hate and road rage from attacking an elderly couple. Frass Azab used his skills in de-escalation, and control and restraint, to prevent a bad situation from becoming a much worse situation. At Warriors Academy we talk to our students about knowing what is an appropriate amoun...t of physical force to use for a given situation, legal ramifications, and the growing fact that people are more likely to film you being attacked with their cell phones than they are to step in and help. This incident lit a fire in Coach Azab to share his knowledge with the larger community so that we may all be better prepared to keep ourselves and others safe. Please join Frass Azab and legal experts/Community advocates this Saturday Sept 7th, 11am-2pm, for an in-depth workshop teaching you hands-on control and restraint, verbal de-escalation, and legal boundaries.
