Services for 76 year old George Bubba Cain Jr. of Bragg City will be held Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at the John W. German Funeral Home in Hayti with Pastor Greg Hunt Officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, December 4, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. in the Funeral Home chapel. Entombment will be in Little Prairie Cemetery in Caruthersville. Family request mask be worn.

Services for 69 year old William Abraham of Hayti will be held Friday, October 2, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the John W. German Funeral Home in Hayti with Pastor Courtney Sanders Jr. officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, October 2, 2020 from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 p.m.

Harry Michael Thomas of Hayti, MO. Born: November 5, 1953 at Hayti Passed Away: September 18, 2020 at Jefferson City, MO. He was 66 years, 10 months, and 13 days of age. He was preceded in death by his parents: Harry Thomas and Peggie Jowers Thomas, and one brother: Steve Thomas.... Mike was a teacher in the Hayti School System for thirty-six years, retiring in 2014. During those years he also did some coaching of the Junior High Football team. He took pride in trying to do the best job for his students and his athletes. Mike also supported and assisted with the High School football program in being part of the chain team for home games and pulling the equipment trailer for away games. Mike was also a volunteer fireman for the Hayti Fire Department for forty- four years. It was something he genuinely loved being a part of. He achieved the rank of Captain and Assistant Chief. He looked forward to the Fireman’s Annual Rib Supper which allowed him to get out and sell tickets in the community. He talked often about how great the Hayti fire department was. Mike loved life and the memories that came with it. He was always looking to have a good time and make new friends along the way. Mike absolutely loved the City of Hayti and the people. He always focused on giving back to the people of Hayti that had helped him while he was growing up. Mike enjoyed blocking with his dad on the Mississippi. Although there was a lot of work involved at the direction of our dad, Mike enjoyed the experience he had with him. Mike loved to tease dad by spraying him with water from the paddle or yelling fish on when Dad was dosing off. Mike enjoyed water skiing on the Mississippi and riding his ATV on the sand bars. He loved to travel when the opportunity presented itself. His travels included Spain, Italy, Paris, Ecuador, and Mexico. Within the states he loved to go to Tunica, Mississippi and Disney World in Orlando, Flordia. He leaves the following behind to cherish his memory: Brother: Ronald E. (Amparo) Thomas of Jefferson City, MO. Sister-in-law: Joy Thomas Hunt Nieces: Katie and Caroline Nephew: William Thomas And a host of other relatives and many, many friends. Funeral services were held September 23, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the John W. German Funeral Home in Hayti, MO. with Pastor Frank Husted officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Hayti, MO.
