This week’s theme is Candle With Care. Candles are pretty to look at and can set a romantic mood. But remember a candle is an open flame and can easily start ...a fire. From 2014-2018, U.S. fire departments responded to an estimated 7,610 home structure fires that were started by candles per year. These fires caused an annual average of 81 deaths, 677 injuries and $278 million in direct property damage. #CandleSafety #FirePrevention #FireSafetyTips

Today we had several Crisis and Disaster Management (CDM) students from the University of Central Missouri come learn about our agency and tour our facility/equipment! Education is a HUGE part of what we do and we absolutely love promoting what our agency does on a daily basis! #jocoready #education
