Finally finishing the walnut stand up desk. Coolest thing about all of this (aside from my client - who is the most patient human alive but also gives me creative license) is the fact that this tree came out of Baxter Co, Arkansas and is headed back there this week. My client probably drove past this tree several times a day for decades until it had to be removed due to road construction. There’s just something about that that strikes me. Yah, you can buy great pieces from Restoration Hardware or Arhaus but I can guarantee you’ll never find a connection like that...one of the reasons I love my job. #custommade #customfurniture #customfurnituredesign
