We’ll have a lot to talk about over the next two months but the proposition is to fund the scheduled replacement of our pumpers over time. I look forward to talking to you about this and thank you for your support. John Woods Fire Chief Jonesburg-High Hill Fire Prot. Dist.

It’s going to be a Red Flag day Saturday, October 17th. So we are asking everyone not to do any open burning tomorrow. Condition will be perfect for open burning to get out of control quickly. Play it safe and don’t burn until conditions improve. Thank you!
Going to be a windy, dry day. Please no open burning.

This is a great class with lots of good information that just might save you or your love ones life.
It’s always nice when we receive Thanks from our citizens for doing our job of serving our community. This emergency was a team effort from all agencies involved and we are happy to hear that the little girl is doing ok.
Members of your fire district attended this training tonight. By training with our neighboring fire district we become better prepared to handle emergency throughout our communities. When fighting a fire in areas that have no fire hydrants, relay pumping and tanker shuttle is very important and needs to be done quickly and efficiently and that’s why we train.
On Saturday, September 12th Chief John Woods excepted a check for the Fire District’s Freddie K. McClure Sr. Community Outreach Fund from the owner of Frumpy Joe’s Rebecca Larner and employees. The restaurant donated 5% of its Friday, September 11th proceeds and the owner matched that 5% for a total of 10%. Along with that several customers also made additional donations. The members of the fire district would like to give a big heartfelt THANK YOU! to Frumpy Joe’s, it’s owner, and all the citizens that came out to support this cause. The Outreach Fund is used to help the communities and its citizens.
We’re humbled and thankful to be part of a community that is so supportive and thoughtful. For those of you who are not aware, we use donations into the Freddie K. McClure Sr. Community Outreach fund to provide for our community through small projects and financial support. This gives our members more opportunity to lend a helping hand. Again, thank you Frumpy Joe’s for supporting the men and women of the Jonesburg-High Hill Fire Protection District.
There’s a lot that goes on behind the scene of your fire district, besides answering calls. Family is one focus of our fire district. One of your firefighters and his family spent part of yesterday washing and cleaning our Rescue Truck 1316 and also got a little fire hose training in for our future firefighters. Remember all of our firefighters are volunteers. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer firefighter please contact us.
Citizens of our Fire District please help this person find there dog. If you can catch him great. Please call the number listed or call Warren County Sheriff Department. Let’s get this boy back to his owner. Thank you!
