HELPING CHILDREN GET ID THAT COULD PROVE CRUCIAL The Kansas City Police Department’s D.A.R.E. program hosted an event last Friday (September 4) at the MLB Urban Youth Academy to help make getting that descriptive information about a child out as quick as possible. The KCPD invited families to have their child participate in the EZ Child ID process, which includes getting photographs and fingerprints, and providing families with ID cards as well as an EZ ID Kit form. EZ Child... ID is a partner of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. COMBAT funds the Kansas City D.A.R.E. program and other law enforcement school-based initiatives throughout the county. Every day 2,000 children are reported missing across the United States.
