Tuesday Tip: Pay Your Bills ONCE Per Month! Today’s Tuesday Tip is a simple one - we started this about 5 years ago and it’s been a game changer! If you have a ton of bills every month to keep track of - listen up! Switch to pay your bills just ONCE per month. Not only does it cut down the amount of time it takes to pay bills, budget, etc., it also helps you to see how much you're spending and saving every month, and where you can make changes. My wife and I have religiously completed a monthly budget each month, for the past 6 years. The impact this has had is remarkable - Not only does it show us where our money goes every month, it also shows us how we can continue working to get more into savings and investments. We spend roughly 2 hours per month on this. The first hour is preparing our excel spreadsheet budget form (I'm happy to share the blank form if you'd like to message me!). The second hour is where we sit down and talk through our goals, progress, ways to improve, etc. It gets us on the same page and keep us both swimming in the same direction!
