Friends, I know for everyone this is a trying time. The uncertainty of whats to come, how long the quarantine will last and of course our ability to survive on ...a basic level financially. I realize that I haven't posted in a couple weeks and mostly its because, like you, I have been making sure my family and employees are taken care of as well as my existing clients and affiliate partners. Did you know that the credit score you receive from your credit card company or Credit Karma isnt used by any banks or lenders to approve loans or financing? In fact, the score is usually as much as 60-90 points different than the Fico mortgage score used to qualify borrowers for home loans. https://buff.ly/31snCly

FICO credit scores are used for over 90 percent of all lending and finance decisions in the U.S. Vantage scoring models are NOT a Fico scoring model but a model built for consumers by the 3 major credit reporting agencies. On average these scores produce scores that tell consumers that their scores are at least 10-15 percent higher than they are. This prompts consumers to apply for more credit because they have false confidence in their ability to get approved. Who makes mon...ey when credit reports are pulled? Thats right! The 3 main credit reporting agencies who produce the "feel good" credit models. Knowing whats on your actual credit report and knowing what can cause your credit scores to be low will give you the real picture. Dont trust a score. If there is something negative on your credit report, then work to fix it, dont just check your scores. See more
