A hilarious and effective approach to Fire Extinguisher training: the live target! FF Somers brought this comedic element to life with a group station tour brought in along with the University of Missouri Extension Butler County/Butler County 4H. Tonight’s tour included A day in the life of a firefighter along with a tour of our apparatus housed at the PBFD headquarters. Hats off to FF Somers for keeping it exciting!

Around 6:30am crews responded to a Structure fire at a residence on the south side of PB. Shift change took place on scene this morning leaving oncoming crews at the residence awaiting an investigation. Thanks to the friendly staff at Memorial Baptist church on South Broadway and Officer Clark of PBPD, crews were able to have a hot meal curbside between duties. Cheers!
