American Water is turning the water pressure to the lake to very low and possibly off. They are repairing a water main break on Wagon Trail.

Today Alderman Nick Jackalone was laid to rest. Alderman Jackalone passed on June 30th 2020 in his home. Mayor Freese and the City of Houston Lake Board and residents thank Alderman Jackalone for his decades of service to the community. Alderman Jackalone will be honored at Monday's City Council meeting.

**UPDATE** Platte County Missouri has updated STAY-AT-HOME order to end on May 3rd, 2020 at 11:59pm Please see attached press release which outlines Phase 2 (reopening phase). "REMINDER: All individuals should continue to stay at home when possible. Individuals at high risk should continue to stay at home and not interact with others except for vital activities. ... Mass gatherings are still not permitted. A mass gathering is any gathering of 10 or more individuals in a location where physical interaction is possible, whether spontaneous or scheduled."
