Hog Haven BBQ

Today marked our 4 year anniversary! Somehow we have managed to make it through whatever you want to call this year!! I've got several ways to describe my thoughts on it, but I'll leave that alone, for now! Even though catering is our main business, and that's basically been prohibited on the scale we're used to, our customers have stepped up tremendously, especially early on, and helped us keep the doors open when so many others didn't make it! I never thought we'd be able t...o make it on restaurant income only, but we basically have and owe the community a great deal of thanks!! It's pretty hard to be optimistic owning a restaurant in Boone County these days, because they sure don't want you to have any hope! But I actually do! All our out of county catering has been a good boost lately, and hopefully soon we will get to start catering closer to home. Breaded pork loins are Friday's special!!

I have good size catering job in Callaway County at 11:00 in the morning, so we won't be having any specials on Thursday. Donna and Emily will be at the shop though, and will have most of our regular menu!

We've got several catering jobs this week, mostly outside of Boone County, of course. So this week's gonna be a little different! But for Wednesday, the special is going to be loaded baked taters!!

How about some turkey clubs for Friday's special?! And Friday evening we will have wagyu burgers also! Our most popular burgers by far!!

Egg rolls for Thursday!! They were requested by a couple long time customers that just recently had them for the first time. So why not do em again?!

Brisket philly's for Wednesday's special! Been a while since we had these!

It's been a looooong time since we had this one! BLT's for Friday's special!! Most will remember, these aren't your average blt's!!!

Our Triple P pork sandwich will be Thursday's special. Pulled pork, sweet pepper slaw and our own deep fried pickles!! It will be on a 5 inch hamburger bun, instead of Texas toast like in the picture. It holds up better than the bread does. The Texas toast tended to get soggy and fall apart.

I feel like doing something I'm gonna regret......I think we'll do nachos as our Wednesday special!! How bout some loaded tater wedges, too?!!

For the 17,362 folks that have called in the past couple months asking if we have nachos, Friday is your day!!! We could do the loaded totchos also, if anyone is up for those.

Since we sold out so fast at lunch AND supper last Friday, pulled pork egg rolls for Thursday's special!!!
