Sorry this post took longer than I had hoped but with holiday celebrations happening so quickly after this wedding I am a little behind. Congrats to Liz Gordon Schmitz and Turtle Schmitz who were married here on December 11 th. This was our first wedding in December. When they contacted us to do this it was an easy decision. We normally end our season in late October but we couldn’t say no to these too. We became acquainted with Braden(Turtle ) when he and our sons wrestle...d together.We have always enjoyed knowing him. He is such a nice guy and we are so happy for him and that he has found a great companion to share his life with. I am also happy they all survived rehearsal in the barn. That was the night that there were tornadoes everywhere and a warning occurred while they were rehearsing. I am sure it was very scary although Liz thought it was kind of fun LOL I loved that they made their departed loved ones part of their ceremony by having nieces and nephews carry photos in at the beginning of the ceremony and placed them behind the altar so they were part of the ceremony. Such a touching tribute!Alex Earls performed a beautiful ceremony as always. Braden and Liz thanks for allowing us to be part of your beautiful day . Dwayne and I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness. Here are a few photos I took with my phone and a few others took. I am excited to see the photos taken by Gil Long. Prepping for our first December wedding.

Congrats Chelsie and Justin Bates . They started planning their wedding here in August and said their Ido’s on October 30. Proof that you don’t have to have a long engagement and they have a blended family of 5 girls. I am impressed they made it happen so fast with such a busy life. It was beautiful! We really got a kick out of getting to know these two. We worked with Chelsie’s dad at MSP and the groom is a jarhead tanker like Dwayne. Best wishes to you all and your beautiful family. Sorry this has taken awhile but I have been under the weather for 2 weeks.Congrats to Shelby Crawford and Ben Crawford who were married here October 23. They had a really beautiful ceremony and Shelby looked like a princess. This couple is so sweet and cute together . I really enjoyed working with them . I hope you have a blessed and beautiful life together . I snapped a few photos but know Infinite Moment ,Rob Shafer will have some real beauties to share soon. I can’t wait to see them Rob.

What a beautiful day God has made. Getting ready for our 1st showing in 2021. For 2021 we have a few dates open . Prime dates are mostly booked. 2022 is booking fast. Thank you to all who helped make 2020 a pretty good season despite a pandemic. Happy New year to all who have trusted us with your wedding day in the past or have booked with us in the future. We feel blessed to be in this business and share in so many cherished memories with all the families we have worked with or will work with. I think the blessing of 2020 is that it has made us all treasure family and friends more than ever.

A little late on posting for our final wedding of the season. We have been very busy booking 2021 and 2022 and I was hoping for a sneak peek from their photographer .Congrats to Jason and Christel Daniels . They were married here on Oct. 17. Their decorations were beautiful. I loved their unity ribbon and hand knotting during the ceremony which included their children . I also loved that they signed their marriage certificate along with family as part of their ceremony. we en...joyed meeting their family and friends. It turns out that Jason’s great grandparents owned the farm next door before the current owners bought it. It was known as the Kearney Farm ( not sure of spelling) As Jason’s grandfather was driving down the road to get here he remembered it from his childhood.I drove some of the family on the gator so they could view it from our farm and I took Jason and Christel on a tour on Sunday.As promised I told them I would take a couple of pictures for them and share. It seems it was meant to be. Dwayne and I are so happy for you all and wish you a long and blessed union.

This video of Caitlin Alayne and Sam is beautiful. Got me crying this morning. Great job Aventi Weddings , it is just as beautiful as all their photo’s you took.
