Friday, April 9th: Grass practices only

Thurs: April 8th Grass practice only, keep balls and kids off the infield.

Raffle Tickets: 95% of raffle tickets have been handed out. Angie has been to every practice at least once, sometimes three times. What do you do with them? Sell them for $1 each and make your money back or write your own name on them. They are due by 9am on Opening Day (there will be a bucket by the concession stand) or you can put them in a baggie/envelope and drop them in the dropbox on the front of the concession stand.... The drawing will be during the Opening Day ceremonies. Grand prize is $500, 2nd and 3rd prize is $250 and we will also have some gift cards.

Parents: As of last night Angie was still missing 125 concession deposits Please get them turned in to the dropbox on the front of the concession stand. $100 to HLL you get back the night you work. Make sure to put your child's name and "deposit" in the memo. We will hold your player's jersey until it is taken care of. Jefferson County and Hillsboro Little League has lost a very important lady. Some of you may remember our Opening Day ceremony several years ago, we had a sweet lady as our guest, Ms. Wanda "Penny" Prince. Mrs. Prince has passed away at the young age of 89. Mrs. Prince paved the way for women like myself, she was the first female coach at Hillsboro Little League, as well as a Board Member. She was also a bus driver for the Hillsboro R3 school district. She was an amazing ...woman and I am proud to have met her. Thank you for your accomplishments and setting the bar for me and all the other female coaches, board members, umpires and others that are involved in Little League. Friday, Oct 23: Games at HLL are canceled for tonight. Remember our Trunk or Treat tomorrow night, 6-8pm. We still have plenty of room for cars that want to participate!

HLL is still looking for participants for our Trunk or Treat this Saturday! Pay $5, hand out candy, decorate your car (or don't), dress up (or don't), see the kids. Bring your kids. HLL Board Members will have games and prizes and food at the concession stand. The best decorated car wins a free registration for the Spring 2021 season! We need families, businesses, organizations to make this a success for the kids and help raise money for the league for winter. As with most small businesses Covid has hit us hard and we have to sustain. Come help us with our FUNdraiser! Email us to reserve your spot!
