Our missionaries are facing financial, spiritual and cultural battles every week. They need your prayers more than ever as they face challenging times amid this pandemic. Will you join us as we pray for the needs below? Would you comment and show that they have an army of prayer warriors behind them? ... Pray for a missionary from the Boston area that ministers to individuals with same-sex attraction and gender dysphoria. Be in prayer as they speak to networks about same-sex attraction, that God would go before them and prepare the hearts of those attending. Pray that God will call more Native Americans into full-time ministry and give protection from the attacks of the enemy for students and staff of this ministry. Pray for their ministry volunteers. They have been dedicated during the pandemic to serve and love big. Pray that the Lord would pour out his blessings and cover their health as they continue to serve. Join us in prayer this Monday morning for these three requests! This week we are praying for various Chi Alpha Campus Ministries, USA and Intercultural Ministries - Assemblies of God U.S. Missions around the U.S. seeking guidance as they navigate challenging circumstances. ... Pray for our Stanford Chi Alpha that the Lord would provide guidance as they start out a new school year and learn how to re-engage with students who have drifted during COVID-19. Pray for a missionary with Intercultural Ministries who lost her husband earlier this year and is seeking guidance as she navigates a new season of leadership and ministry. Pray for our Chi Alpha ministries across the country as they seek wisdom and discernment to navigate how to minister virtually since many colleges will be closed due to COVID-19.

What do you value? What do you put your time into? What is important to you? Matthew 6:21 (NIV) says it like this, "Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Where is your treasure? Is it in your job? Family? Sports? Outward appearance? What do you spend most of your time on? ... We are called to love God with all of our heart, but we often fall short of this. Life is busy and we constantly strive for things that are important in that moment. But do we truly strive to worship God in every area of our life? Where our treasure is, is where our heart is. Sometimes we have to slow down to remember what is really important in life. Today, be encouraged to re-evalute what is important to you. Life is short. Don't waste it. Make the most of every opportunity. "The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever" (1 John 2:17). - - - Comment below and let us know what is most important to you!

Standing for God's Word isn't always going to bring popularity. Well, that's a real encouragement isn't it? What's the point of preaching the Word if it's the unpopular thing to do? We preach the gospel because God has changed us. We want to tell others about the hope, joy, and peace He brings so they can experience it too. We preach the gospel because we were created to worship. Living a life pleasing to Him, telling the world of His love, is our act of worship. We prea...ch the gospel because He is worthy. He is holy. Without him we are nothing. If you're experiencing unpopularity because of your faith, be encouraged. Jesus wasn't always popular either. Actually, He was so unpopular that he ultimately died on a cross. A death He didn't deserve but took for us. Galatians 1:10 (NIV) says, "Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ." We don't live to please others. We live to please God. Popularity fades but the Word of God is eternal. It's okay to be unpopular. God doesn't call us to be accepted by the world, He calls us to spread His Word boldly with kindness and love. - - - Are you ready to be unpopular? Comment below!
