A well articulated perspective. I resonate with it. The anti-vaxxers and con-spirituality'ers really went after her. She impresses me. Now I want to read her latest futuristic novel, The Fifth Sacred Thing (written in the 80's & early 90's)

When you can’t hold steady and things get blurry just shift your perspective, try again, and the way will be made clear....

When you say "thank you" to anything, you assume it’s a gift, and when you assume it’s a gift only gifts can be revealed. Thank you is the end of lashing out, ...the disappearance of turning away, and the death of shutting down. It is the emergence of your highest vibration in form that transforms reality from the inside out one blessing of gratitude at a time. Nothing inherently causes suffering, unless it is something you refuse to thank. Being thankful is a break from deciding what you like or dislike. Whether something seems pleasing or punishing, "thank you" acknowledges any circumstance as an environment where your most profound expansion occurs, simply by living out the moments that come. This doesn’t make it okay to be hurt, rejected, judged, betrayed, or any other form of abuse, but while moving yourself into safer and more stable situations, an awakening soul remembers to say thank you for each of the encounters that are created to inspire its most immaculate evolution. While this may seem counter-intuitive to the mind, it is an eternal Truth that resides in the depths of your soul. Whether the heart still hides or the mind wishes to disagree and debate, each are equally unique aspects of your Eternal Being that are here to be embraced, honored, adored, and appreciated just as they are. If you thank your mind, it will relax .If you thank your heart, it will open. If you thank your past, it will integrate. If you thank your symptoms, they will heal. If you thank your shadow, it will vanish. If you thank your Life, it will transform. If you thank yourself, the Light will dawn.

Become the bridge between the light and the dark....

In the end, it won’t matter what agenda was taken down, whether secrets were unsealed, or which perspective had it right on any level. All that will matter is t...he time you took to remain faithful in spirit, aligned in your ethics, a loving nurturer of your own heart, and an inspired contributor for your friends, family, and community while rooted in the wisdom of maturity no matter how dark it became before the light dawned. Get this and save yourself some heartache.

Feeling upside-down with so much free-floating anxiety today. I even unconsciously hung up a tapestry with the Eye of Horus upside down today. That speaks quite... symbolically to the old masculine/patriarch doing everything it can to keep its knee on the neck of the new young masculine (Horus). The Supreme Court situation is beyond unnerving. Trying to hold on to the wisdom guidance of Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes..."We Were Made For These Times". I confess, it's not easy....but I repeat it like a mantra/prayer... "Soul on deck shines like gold in dark times." "Do Not Lose Heart. We Were Made for These Times." Ours is not the task of fixing the entire world all at once, but of stretching out to mend the part of the world that is within our reach. Any small, calm thing that one soul can do to help another soul, to assist some portion of this poor suffering world, will help immensely. It is not given to us to know which acts or by whom, will cause the critical mass to tip toward an enduring good. What is needed for dramatic change is an accumulation of acts, adding, adding to, adding more, continuing. We know that it does not take everyone on Earth to bring justice and peace, but only a small, determined group who will not give up during the first, second, or hundredth gale. I stand fully with this message.

It is possible to be supportive of our local police and also be anti-racist. But it is clear that black people are being killed by some police for no reason oth...er than the color of their skin, and that has to end. Do I as a white person have to fear for my life if I am pulled over for a traffic violation? No. But black people do, and have every right to be fed up with this kind of treatment. I support their right to protest. I can also understand why this sometimes breaks out into rage when the same gruesome story is repeated again and again. It seems like treating everyone as human beings with equal rights would solve the problem. Police who cannot do this should be fired. Running on a campaign of law and order is just code speak for supporting racism, plain and simple. Let’s not fall for that. Black Lives Matter because they matter as much as white lives, no more, no less, and that level of equality, while being a constitutional right, is not honored in actual practice. If you are white, try to imagine being black and having the police called simply because you show up in a predominantly white neighborhood. This happens every day in this country. We can and must do better. #BlackLivesMatter #EndRacismNow

At times, you may be asked to sit with another who has been touched by the darkness. To allow them to fall apart in your arms, unravel, be without hope, and fee...l lost. You may sense there is some sort of wisdom unfolding, but it is chaotic, uncertain, and not easy to stay with. While it is natural to want to do whatever you can to help them feel better, listen carefully to what it is they are truly asking for. Extend to them a calm, regulated nervous system where their experience can be validated and held, exactly as it is. Ensure them with words and with your presence that they need not "get over it," "accept everything as it is," shift into a "higher vibration," "stay in the present," be cured, transformed, or "healed" in order for you to stay close. To provide such an environment for another, you must first offer safe passage for the unmetabolized in yourself: the unmet sadness, abandoned shame, discarded grief, disavowed hopelessness, and deserted aloneness. If not, you may find yourself rushing to talk the other out of their experience, urgently spinning to relieve them of their feelings as a way to cut into your own anxiety and discomfort. All the while subtly and unconsciously disavowing the raging intelligence buried within the dark. Together with them, make the commitment to not pathologize their experience. Pain is not pathology. Hopelessness is not pathology. Grief is not pathology. Shame and rage are not pathology. They are path. Seed this wisdom into the relational field and watch in awe as a new world unfolds. As you attune to the "other" in front of you as well as to the alchemical "other" within feel the creative flow of love as it fills the space between, crafting you both as vessels of sanctuary for the pieces of the broken world, for the shards of confusion, and for the crumbled hopes and dreams that have dissolved in front of your eyes. Honor the holy truth that the forms that love take will always fall apart for this is their nature in order that they may come back together in more integrated and cohesive ways. Within the aliveness of the relational field despite the pain of the present, the traumas of the past, and the broken dreams of the future you may see that it was only love after all, taking whatever form it must so that it may unfold itself into this world, in ways the mind may never understand. Please do whatever you can to help others in whatever way you are able: attune to their emotional experience such that they feel felt, listen carefully to what they are saying, and how they are making meaning of their lives. Slow way down, bracket your favorite psychological and spiritual jargon and theories, and allow yourself to be curious about how they are making sense of their experience. Feed them, hold them, speak kindly to them, provide sanctuary and safe passage for soul to disclose its mysteries. And remind them that love is here and is alive.

Advice from Maria Sabina, Mexican curandera and poet. Cure yourself, with the light of the sun and the rays of the moon.... With the sound of the river and the waterfall. With the swaying of the sea and the fluttering of birds. Heal yourself, with the mint and mint leaves, with neem and eucalyptus. Sweeten yourself with lavender, rosemary, and chamomile. Hug yourself with the cocoa bean and a touch of cinnamon. Put love in tea instead of sugar and take it looking at the stars Heal yourself , with the kisses that the wind gives you and the hugs of the rain. Get strong with bare feet on the ground and with everything that is born from it. Get smarter every day by listening to your intuition, looking at the world with the eye of your forehead. Jump, dance, sing, so that you live happier. Heal yourself, with beautiful love, and always remember... you are the medicine. "

Often times, the feelings that modalities cannot affect are staying in-tact to teach you deeper aspects of an evolutionary process. Such feelings can withstand ...any degree of avoidance, negotiation, and distraction, until you allow feelings that may not match your personal desires to show you something more meaningful about the journey you are on. If you focus on the feeling and say, even just once, "I'm done fighting with you, please show me the gift I'm here to receive", you might be pleasantly surprised. Just say it once, and if need be, give it time to open up. This is the profound difference between trying to heal something and allowing it to transform. See more
