The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office is currently accepting application for an administrative assistant. Job duties include, filing and maintaining records, issuing and renewing CCW permits, scheduling meetings and appointments, assist the Sheriff in maintaining financial records, working with the Circuit Courts to maintain inmate files, bonds and civil service papers, stocking office supplies, and assisting the public throughout the building. Today, I was officially sworn into the office of Sheriff for my first term. The deputies and reserve deputies were also sworn in by Associate Circuit Judge Hemenway. I’m proud to call each of these guys Deputy Sheriff and thank them for the hard work they put to make the community a better place.
