Trying something new around here! I’m more than a little particular about the vanilla that I use and I’ve wanted to try making my own for YEARS. I’ll let you know how it works out . Any other vanilla enthusiasts out there?

Made a semi naked cake to be a part of a collection of cupcakes. They were part of an open house tonight for a new bride and groom. It was fun learning how to do the sugar crusted fruit. if you’re curious- you paint them with a thin layer of slightly beaten egg whites before you dip them in the sugar.

Chocolate cake with raspberry filling and raspberry buttercream. It was the perfect (pink) cake to celebrate a new baby girl!

To everyone who supported me this season, thank you! I sold 125 bags and 80 boxes of caramels and I even had time to make at least 20 bags and several boxes for family and friends . Wishing you all a Merry Christmas!
