Here is some info on income requirements to be considered for a home from Habitat for Humanity. Equal Opportunity Lender, homes are @ zero interest, and at cost.
We had a great & productive workday at our latest project in Stover. Our task today was to remove appliances, furniture left from the last occupants, carpet, padding, doors, back deck, trim & drywall. We completely filled the roll off dumpster, and will have another workday this coming Saturday, February 4th @ 9am to load the new dumpster with what remains. We are excited to begin seeking partner families for this 3 bedroom home, and to provide another Morgan Co family a new home. If you know of someone interested in a "hand up, not a hand out" that may qualify for our zero interest, at cost housing program, please send them to us. Thank you!!
Habitat for Humanity Morgan County Workday this Saturday from 9am to 3pm, please let us know if you are interested in volunteering!

Percentage of curr...ent income available to pay housing costs is considered, as well as applicant must live in Morgan County. This includes prerequisites such as completing education classes provided by HFH on such things as Finances, Home Maintenance and Repairs, and completing 100 hours per adult in family, of "sweat equity" hours. Partner families are responsible for maintenance and repairs after they move in, and have the Family Support Committee available if continued financial counseling or maintenance education is required.
