Wow. We were just on a call with people up and down the Mississippi River to talk about implementing the Mississippi River Plastic Waste Initiative. We are part of the pilot project for this and will need you to help us collect the data either as part of one of our events or even on your own with a small group. This Community Science project allows us to collect valuable data that that will help with both regional and GLOBAL planning to address plastic waste. Congratulations!

The numbers are in for National Public Lands Day. Many small groups participated across multiple sites to make a difference on public lands in the Confluence Region. 89 people picked up almost a ton and a half of trash, planted 240 native plants and cleared out invasive plants. It was a fantastic effort. Thank you to everyone who worked on planning and who came out to assist.

This crew picked up 1,000 lbs of trash on Hall Street in just under 2 hours Saturday morning! Great work. Thanks to St Louis Pick N Pull for the use of their parking lot. And many thanks to the City of St Louis for providing the necessary trucks. We will be doing it again on October 24 starting at Hickey Park and working in the opposite direction.
