Yesterday afternoon our local Friends of the Animal Shelter of St. Joseph and St. Joseph Animal Shelter received SEVEN pallets of cat litter from the pics for paws fundraiser!! I am blown away by the generosity and care our community and my clients has for our shelter! Thank you so much to each of you who signed up for the 2020 pics for paws event. I would also like to give a huge thank you to Nestle Purina Petcare. For the second year nestle matched our donations. Without them this blessing for the shelter would not have been possible. So thank you!! This event has continued to grow and every year I look forward to seeing new (and repeat!) clients and their sweet fur babies. Dates for the 2021 fundraiser have been set for August 10th and 12th so mark your calendars now if you're interested. Sign ups will go live in early July!

While 2020 was a strange year for us all, for me it was a year of incredible growth. With the pandemic putting a halt on my ability to capture my families with new babies I had to take my extra time and utilize it to keep growing. I've spent this time working on my editing, specifically newborns, to deliver clients beautiful timeless art. The image below was shot in October 2019. The bottom was my original edit, and the top was re-edited today. With the new year comes goals ...and this year my goal is to specialize and provided the best of the best for all things family. This includes newborns, maternity, and family sessions. I am excited about these changes and I cannot wait to connect with more families and be there as they grow to capture it all. BOOKED! Thanks everyone!! I have this afternoon open for a session if anyone is interested in getting some pictures with the beautiful ice covered trees! There's no place like home for the holidays.

The best part of my job? These moments, the inbetweens. The blissfulness of childhood. The unprovoked hug from your four year old because he randomly remembered just how much he loves you. The giggles of children because bear hugs just squeeze all the joy right out of them. These are the moments I live for and the moments I want you to never forget.

Love is not an emotion. It's your very existence.
