In science we have been talking about precipitation and different forms of water. We did an activity where we investigated to see how much moisture a sponge could hold before being saturated and leaking. Then we connected this to humidity and how hotter weather we feel more moisture in the air compared to colder weather.

Today we kicked off our learning of AREA! They were tasked with designing Brantley's playroom. At first, they went to town designing and then I asked them to make sure they could explain it to me and how I would need to be able to take their plans to get materials. After discussion with the pods and some more prompting, they designed the playroom and learned that area is super important when planning and designing. Check out some of their initial plans!
