Do you have any friends or loved ones who’d like to make a move? Now is the perfect time for them to check out a Holiday Retirement community. Because right now, new residents can get free rent for the rest of 2020. We want everyone to enjoy the warm, friendly atmosphere here, so we’d appreciate it if you spread the word. https://bit.ly/2UEVEBj

Moving to a community can feel difficult for some, and while no place can replace home, there’s something about seeing the familiar faces of staff and neighbors who care every day, sharing a laugh over a meal, or knowing all the daily details are taken care of that soon makes residents realize this is exactly where they need and want to be. Resident Ed Perkins of Garden Village not only gained a friend as a new neighbor, but also won a grand prize for referring one of his friends!

What is independent living? At its core, residing in an independent senior living community is similar to living in a house, apartment, or anywhere else. The biggest (and most enticing) difference is in how these communities streamline and simplify many day-to-day parts of living. Learn more: https://bit.ly/2Fg6QzH

The health, safety, and happiness of our residents and associates is Holiday Retirement’s top priority. We continue to closely monitor the quickly changing COVID-19 situation, and make decisions based on the guidance of local, state, and federal health authorities. Though the Coronavirus pandemic is challenging in unprecedented ways, it’s also highlighted the strength, resiliency, and dedication of our associates and residents. Read here on how we are keeping current and new residents safe: https://bit.ly/3bt7NPB

Happy #NationalNursesDay to those working selflessly and endlessly to provide comfort and care every day. To all of our heroes in scrubs instead of capes, you are appreciated and the world is a better place because of you.

"I feel so safe in this epidemic. If I was at home, I wouldn't be as protected or as guarded as I am here." Although things are far from normal right now, we are continuing to provide a variety of healthy, nutritious, and delicious meals. New protocols have been developed and implemented to specifically address the safety of both residents and associates. #HolidayStrong #StrongerTogether

The residents of Holiday's Woodlands Village community were overjoyed when they received surprise flowers out of the blue! When they heard the flowers were donated by a couple that had to cancel their wedding... there was some very funny confusion. Read more here: https://bit.ly/3eHGLGY

Happy Earth Day! All Holiday communities are celebrating in their own way this year while practicing social distancing to keep residents and associates safe! Whether it is earth themed gifts and snacks or contests crafting art out of recycled materials, it is important we all do our part to ignite the change not only today, but each and every day within our communities.

Did you know that as a Holiday resident, you are given a GreatCall device at move-in? GreatCall agents are always available to take action for emergency situations, but they are also available if you just need to talk. Some residents even use GreatCall agents to help them feel safe when out for an evening stroll. It also takes away the anxiety of being home alone, knowing you always have someone to call. Just press the button on your GreatCall device! https://bit.ly/2VutAR3

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! Every community celebrated in their own unique way. For example, at Holiday's Pinewood Hills community, surrounding local neighbors Lori Williams - Senior Services and Advanced RehabTrust Home Health and many others brought Easter cheer with a socially distanced parade with cars, horses, and the Easter Bunny himself!

Yesterday we shared associates at Aurora Pond beginning their re-creation of Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park. They went above and beyond to make up for their cancelled trip to see the butterflies. Today, we wanted to share the heartwarming reactions to the colorful kaleidoscope they created. #HolidayStrong #SharetheCheer #TogetheratHome

The residents of our Aurora Pond community were extremely disappointed when they found out they would no longer be able to take their long anticipated trip to Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park to see the beautiful butterflies. Then, the associates of Aurora Pond took matters into their own hands (literally)... #HolidayStrong #SharetheCheer
