For those interested in spending money in renting rooms at the Stanley Hotel here is a brief history and activity type for each room listed. Room 217 the Room Steven King wrote the Shining in. Actor Jim Carry was reportedly chased out late at night and never came back. PS The Movie Shining is played 24/7. Cost per night $800.00 dollars. Room 401 its said the Ghost of Lord Dunraven today still plays women’s hair.... Room 407 this room has one that always tucks in the Bed Covers, Untidy the covers go into the bathroom, come out the bed covers are tidy. Room 413 A report of an Old fashion man sits or hides in the corner. Room 418 you hear Children running up and down the hall all night supposedly. Room 428 A cowboy is said to try and give women kisses. Room 1302 is the room where pictures were thrown off the wall, (I believe that happened on the Ghost Hunters series) Well that should set you back a few thousand to start! Good Luck!
