Grades 1 and 2 are the stars of today's #LearningWithNature highlight! These students chose to focus on the insects (monarchs and bees, specifically!) that make their homes on the #ForsythSchool campus. #UniquelyForsyth #GoGreenForsyth Grade 1, left: I like seing the monarks. [sic] ("I like seeing the monarchs.") Grade 2, right: A bee landed near me in the tent. It landed on my backpack. I was scared! I moved away from the bag, and it came near me. I was very still. Buzz, Buzz, Buzz! It buzzed around me, but it went away! Pew!!

#FlashbackFriday to a very #UniquelyForsyth Halloween! Anyone who knows #ForsythSchool knows that Halloween is kind of a big deal here. We knew this year's celebration would look different due to the COVID-19 pandemicbut no less festive! Why have just TWO Halloween costume parades when you can have FIVE of them?! Our smaller costume parades in cohort groups along Wydown Boulevard allowed our families to join in on the fun (from a social distance!) and our students to feel like the rockstars they are! This year's African Dance unit looked a little different this year! Although we weren't able to welcome families onto campus for a special performance day, students in Junior-Kindergarten and older had tons of fun dancing outside on our Sport Court! Explore the Photo Album: https://forsyth.link/20-african-dance Special thanks to Atum Jones, who conducted our African Drumming unit in Music the past two years and came back to lead this year's African Dance unit in PE! #ForsythSchool #UniquelyForsyth #SchoolOutside
