The parks and recreation department was given a tree to plant in honor of Earth Day and Arbor day. The tree is a Hawthorne tree and it was planted by the jet at the Eagan Center.

Below is the updated indoor pool schedule! If you have specific questions such as price, capacity limits or water fitness class schedule, please call the JJE front desk at 314-421-4466. *Please note, there will be no open swim Saturday afternoon, February 6th due to MWAA Conference Swim Meet.
Enjoy the holidays with FREE admission for all Florissant residents showing a valid resident card. Free popcorn and soda will be provided. Non-residents are welcome to skate during these sessions but regular admission rates will apply. Gather the family and enjoy the afternoon at the rink! Masks are required and call ahead reservation is NOT required.

Kickstarters (ages 3-5) is back this winter at the James J. Eagan Center! This youth soccer program consists of light instruction in a fun, positive, and small group environment. Children will learn shooting, passing, dribbling, defense, and other fundamentals of the game. Participants should bring tennis shoes and an age appropriate soccer ball. The program will be on Saturdays at 9am starting Saturday, January 9th. Registration can be done in person at either the James J. Eagan Center or John F. Kennedy Center or over the phone at 314-839-7670. Please remember that everyone’s temperature will be taken at the door and that masks ARE required to enter. Come and take your picture with Santa tomorrow! Santa will be inside his special Snow Globe outside the Eagan Center, Saturday December 12th from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Reservations are required, to reserve a time slot please call 314-921-4466.

Do you have medical equipment that is not being used? Do you need medical equipment? Now their is help, St. Louis HELP loans the donated home medical items to anyone in need, at no cost or fee. The Medical Equipment Donation Drive will be held tomorrow Saturday, October 24th from 9 AM - 2 PM.

The city was notified by a dog park user that their dog has been diagnosed with parvo. You may want to have your dog checked out. Also please remember to pick up after your dogs. Thank you, Parks and Recreation Department!
Come join us for our 2nd Annual Fall Pickleball Tournament at the James J. Eagan Center Gymnasium on Saturday, November 7th at 9AM! The tournament format will be round robin playoffs and will be a random mixed doubles draw. All skill levels are welcome! Registration is currently open and takes place at the JJE Center or JFK Community Centers. Limited space is available and will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
Come join us this Friday for the 3rd Annual Family Boo Bash from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. We will be doing a trick or treat drive-thru at Sunset Park! Due to Covid we ask you to please stay in your vehicle. The indoor pool is open! Below are the pool hours of operation through Sunday, November 1st. Registration for water aerobic classes is currently open for Florissant Residents. Non-Residents will be able to register beginning Monday, October 26. Please call the JJE front desk at 314-921-4466 to register for classes. Due to St. Louis County restrictions, the pool will be limited to 50% occupancy.
Come join us Friday October 30th for our first annual youth Halloween Skate! Tickets are on sale now at the James J. Eagan Center and John F. Kennedy Community Center. Due to capacity restrictions, tickets will be limited and sold on a first come, first serve basis. Costumes are highly encouraged, but should not interfere with the safety of the skater.
