This son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.' So they began to celebrate. Luke 15:24 You can’t really share your story until you’ve owned it. There are some parts of my story I’m not very proud of. But you can’t possibly know how incredible my God is unless you understand the grace required to save me.... Let’s spend some time in Luke 15 and remember the story of the Prodigal SonLost and Found.

There are Small Group as well as Worship opportunities. We’re engaging in all the usual precautions to help everyone stay safe as we gather! One thief rebuked the other, "Don't you fear God? We are getting what we deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong." Then he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom." Luke 23:40-42 There’s nothing more powerful than meeting Jesus. Ask anyone who knowsit changes everything. When Jesus was crucified two thieves hung on either side of him. One was looking for some ‘last-ditch’ effort to get out alive. The other was looking beyond the moment all the way i...nto eternity. Somehow, he knew Jesus was real, that Jesus could offer hopehis only hope. So, he made a request; ‘Remember me when you come into your Kingdom’ James and John had asked for places of honor in the Kingdom. This guy just wanted in! He knew it was a long shothe was hanging on a cross because that’s what he deserved. But he knew Jesus was different. Jesus’ answer is all grace! ‘Today, you will be with me in Paradise.’ This SundayEaster SundayI want us to worship around the question. ‘What do you want Jesus to remember about you?’

Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. 1 Peter 3:15 Over the last few weeks we’ve been considering our own stories and how we can share the hope that we have in Jesus. But not only are we to share the hope that we have, Peter indicates that we need to be prepared we need to do some prep work before we share our story. Because we’ve all been there, right? We get asked to share our story and we fumble aroun...d and are all over the place. We’re not as clear as we wanted to be about what Jesus has done in our lives. We are going to look at the personal encounter that a man named Cleopas and his friend had with the risen Lord Jesus found in Luke 24:13-35. And as we learn from their encounter, it will help us in the development of our story, that we too will be able to share and point people to the hope that we have in Christ! Jason

Do you want to get well?Jesus Sir, I have no one to help me Someone always goes down ahead of me’Paralyzed man (John 5:6-7) One more message about what we give up in order to take up our place in the BELOVED.... We’re getting our hearts ready for Easter We’re giving up bluster, substitutes, empty religion, empty relationships, but ultimately I have to give up my excuses for why I’m not the man I want to bethat God wants me to be. That’s what we’re going to be worshiping around this Sunday. John 5 and John 9 offer portraits of two helpless people who come up with very different answers to the questions'Who is Jesus to me?’, and ‘What’s my next move?’ I LOVE You, and I LOVE Being Your Pastor! A significant chunk of the gospels is devoted to the events that occurred in the one week between Palm Sunday (when Jesus arrived in Jerusalem) and His resurrection. This week wasn’t just important 2000 years ago, but most historians would agree that the events that transpired have resulted in a more profound impact on human history than any other in the history of the world. These scriptures chronicle that week, which is why it’s important to read and re-read them every ye...ar. We encourage you to read the chapters in Matthew, Mark and Luke first because John wrote his account last, and likely had read Matthew, Mark and Luke’s accounts and was able to add additional details he deemed necessary having already seen the emergence of the early church. Please join us in making the reading of these Scriptures a part of your routine this week as we prepare our hearts for Easter Sunday. See more
