The 8th grade band got a new instrument today. Check it out Ms. Buxton found a fun way to take a break from playing the regular instruments.

BPMS track and field as well as softball start Monday, March 1st. Baseball will be starting the 8th of March. Your athlete will have the oppurtunity to meet with their coaches this week for information. Track meets on Tuesday and Softball will meet on Thursday. These meetings are taking place during lunch. If your athlete was unable to attend please email the coaches for information. Student Council is trying to spread a little kindness in our school. We will update the challenge every week.

Want to recognize Allison Prather for a Positive office referral. She was recognized by Mrs. Dickson. Yesterday, during lunch, a student tried his best to clean up his own mess. He then left class to see another teacher. I was unaware that liquid/food was still on another table, all over the plexiglass, and all over the floor. Allison quietly took care of it all.

For an ELA assignment in Mrs. Thomas' class, students were to choose someone they think changed the world and do a short research paper over the person. Hanna Brumbalow chose to write about her favorite author, Demitria Lunetta, because her work changed Hanna's world and made her enjoy reading. Mrs. Thomas contacted Ms. Lunetta and told her about it, so she sent bookmarks and signed bookplates addressed to Hanna! Hanna was VERY excited to receive this surprise!

BPMS football 7th grade played Pleasant View out of Springfield last night. Pleasant view won the game, but our team adjusted well and tied the sceomd half. BPMS football 8th grade played Reed MS out of Springfield last night. The Bison WON a tight game 20-14 #BisonPride

Girls basketball tryouts for girls in 6th through 8th grade with begin Monday, November 2nd at 6 am in the Middle school gym. Parents will drop athletes off at back door of the middle school gym. Athletes must have physicals. If you have any questions contact Coach Glor.
