For the past 7 3/4 years I have served as Sr. Pastor of Huntsville First Baptist Church. It has been a joy and an honor to serve this fine congregation. However, God has now said it is time to move on, so we are doing our best to follow His will. I want to thank everyone for all the words of kindness, and gifts of love you have shown us over the past 2 months. This morning is my final message as your pastor, and I pray you will be here, or listen on Facebook Live if you ...cannot be here in person. Again we love you and will always be praying for you. This morning some of our youth gathered at flag poles all over Randolph County to pray for each other, their schools, and for our government leadership. This year as I am currently stuck in quarantine I had to rely on some of our church members to fill in where I couldn’t be. I want to say thank you to Craig and Elvina for preparing breakfast burritos for the students. Lisa Christine Whitney and Janet for being at the flag poles with the students. You all are amazing. Most importantly I want to thank our students that stepped out on faith this morning and made a bold statement for the Kingdom. Remember that you can pray anywhere and we should pray often.
