Big congratulations to FAST's Christopher Tobar for being awarded the Saint Louis University Vice President's Scholarship beginning the 2021-22 academic year!! Christopher will be entering the Flight Science program at SLU's Parks College of Engineering, Aviation and Technology in the fall of 2021.

State Champions!! Congratulations to FAST's Eli Butters (pictured) and Cooper Scharff who each became 2020 MSHAA Boys State Champs last weekend in individual events. Eli placed first in the 50 Free, touching out the competition by more than a second, and setting a new Class 2 State Record with a time of 20.48. Cooper took first place in the 100 Back, and was off the Class 2 State Record by less than 1/10 of a second. Congratulations, Eli and Cooper!! #FASTERtogether #swimFASTstl #mshaa

The SAA 2020 Team includes 562 girls and 525 boys who have earned at least a 3.5 GPA in academic subjects and have met the 2019 Winter Junior Standard in the pool. As many of our recent high school grads head off to college in the following days/weeks, we wanted to send out one final "Congratulations!!" to the Class of 2020. We also have one last Senior Spotlight. Our final Senior Spotlight goes to Camryn McMurry. Camryn graduated from Westminster Christian Academy this spring and swims in our Senior Select 2 Group at the FAST Pirates site. Camryn has been swimming competitively for four years and plans to continue swimming this fall... for the Illinois Institute of Technology where she will attend on a full academic scholarship. Camryn is a member of the National Honor Society and graduated with a Scholars Diploma. ...... Favorite Memories: "One of my favorite moments at practice would be when it snowed. We would make snow angels outside and then jump into the pool right after." ...... Sounds like fun, Camryn! Thank you for sharing your memory. The John C. Traube Memorial Scholarship Fund is proud to announce that Emily O'Connell of Rockwood Swim Club is the 2020 recipient of the John C. Traube Memorial Scholarship. Emily plans to attend Miami University of Ohio in the fall where she will continue to swim competitively. Congratulations, Emily! The John C. Has your little fish been missing their summer league this year? Is your budding swimmer considering joining a swim team this fall, but would you prefer to try it out first? Do you have a swimmer trying to stay in shape for an upcoming school season? The FAST Summer Swim Camp may be for you! We will be holding two, 3-week Summer Swim Camp sessions for athletes age 6-17 years old at the Kennedy Recreation Complex this July and August. Led by our team of knowledgeable, profess...ional coaches, practices are on Mondays & Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 PM. Your swimmers will work with our coaches to get in shape, improve stroke technique and refine racing skills. This program is for swimmers who have mastered freestyle and backstroke and are legal (or nearly legal) in butterfly and breaststroke, as well as those swimmers who are more experienced with competitive swimming. Swimmers will be grouped by experience and skill level. FAST Swim Club takes all local and national safety precautions seriously and we will be utilizing health screenings, mask-wearing on the pool deck, and social distancing. The safety of all athletes in our program is our top priority. In order to properly social distance in our Summer Swim Camp, spaces will be limited. Please sign up today.
