COVID VACCINE UPDATE PLUS THE LINK TO SCHEDULE FOR AGES 12 AND UP!!! BJC HealthCare is now accepting appointments for minors ages 12 and above to receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. The FDA extended its emergency use authorization for the Pfizer vaccine on Monday to include children as young as 12. Pending review from a CDC advisory board panel, BJC HealthCare expects to begin vaccinating children as early as tomorrow. If you have a child age 12-17 and you would like to sche...dule their vaccination, please note: *Select an appointment for the Pfizer vaccine. Pfizer is currently the only manufacturer with emergency use authorization to vaccinate children 12-17. *Those ages 12-17 must be accompanied to their appointment by an adult or guardian. *Adults age 18 and over may choose appointments that offer the Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccine. Other important information to note before scheduling: You will receive the vaccine at no cost to you. However, if you have insurance including Medicare or Medicaid - they will bill for administrative fees, so please bring your insurance card.
