Check out this story of one of Missouri's midwives helping run a temporary birth center in New York City to ease the hospital load during COVID-19! Jessica Henman, CNM, CPM opened the first free standing birth center in the St Louis area around the same time that Family Birth and Wellness opened and she's been a dear friend and supporter over the years. She and her whole family came down and volunteered - helping paint, hang drywall, and put in doors when Family Birth and Wellness was being built! We love seeing what cool things she's doing right now!

We had a fun party celebrating the three new midwives who graduated at FBW with some of the moms and babies they took care of through their years of clinicals at Family Birth and Wellness. We also had a private "baby sprinkle" for our pregnant nurses and a surprise late birthday party for Carla... so quite an afternoon of partying!
