Red Flag warning today. Please don't burn outdoors. October 17, 2020

There is an elevated fire risk today October 16, 2020 and a critical fire risk for Saturday October 17, 2020. Please no outside burning.

Conditions are extremely dry. Units were dispatched to this approximate 1.5 acre fire in heavy timber conditions. While the fire was contained quickly it still took nearly two hours of mop up work, attempting to completely extinguish the fire due to the dry conditions. We believe this fire was accidentally caused by chainsaw use nearly 36 hours prior to the fire! Please do not burn and use caution when using anything that may cause heat or embers. Significant moisture will be needed before fire conditions improve.
