This past Saturday morning got off to a great start on The Hill of Main Street Fair Grove with Fair Grove Chamber of Commerce ribbon cuttings at four locally owned businesses. Representatives from Monroe House, Monroe House Market, Time Travel Cafe and Festoons & Filigree/Fairly Groovy all snipped purple ribbons to celebrate the hard work involved in getting their businesses to this point and the bright future that lies ahead. We are grateful to the Chamber members who took... part in the celebration. The Chamber is actively scheduling several more ribbon cuttings to take place in the months ahead.

This Saturday, March 20, the Fair Grove Area Chamber of Commerce is on a roll with four ribbon cutting ceremonies! Actually we will be on a hill, The Hill of Main Street. These businesses have been patiently waiting for their ribbon cutting. We encourage Chamber members to take part in the festivities. ... See the schedule we will follow below starting at 9:00 am (each stop is brief). Refreshments afterwards. We look forward to seeing you this Saturday 3/20 at 9 am. Bring a big smile for the photo ops. The Chamber is scheduling ribbon cuttings for other new area member businesses. Let us know if you’d like one.

Lots of good things going on in Fair Grove today...

This is a video of the Fair Grove Christmas Parade 2020. I tried and failed to edit the video and chop it off at the 12:05 mark, and you may stop watching at that point. The old fire truck died again and there isn't much point to watching after that mark. Parade is organized by the Fair Grove Fire Department. The Chamber sponsors the prizes, and helps with promotion. Also active are Heart 2 Heart and the Historical Society. Mike Counterman is the public address announcer. Mark Bennett is the videographer. I tried to keep my mumbling and swearing to a minimum.
