EU Films

My name is Kayla Kononiuk and I am the Assistant Director for unit B. I ran slate, wrote down the information for the shots we took, helped create the call sheets, and helped out with anything else that needed to be done on set.

Meet Danielle Aubry! Inheritance | Assistant Director for Unit A My responsibility was to operate the slate and to write down what audio file goes with which clip. This made the editors’ jobs easier. Other responsibilities that I had were to assist the director with filling in the gaps with what needed to be done. This was my second time working on an EU Film. The first EU Film that I worked on was Actress for Hire and I was the Assistant Editor.

My names Victoria Johnson, I was the Producer of unit B. A little bit about me, I’m from Arkansas and this is my third year at Evangel. I’m a digital art major and a Spence Hall resident! I also own my own small graphic design business called Tori Kate Creations so go give me a follow on Instagram!

Moving on to our producers! Josiah Dinwiddie, Producer of Group "A" "Did a lot of random stuff on set. Was great at holding random things."

EU Films announces the production launch of "Out of My Mind." The film staff holds auditions this weekend on the Evangel campus - see Events for details. "Out of My Mind" is a short comedy with a bit of romanticism. The film will be presented to the public in a premiere broadcast on November 20. The dramatic film "Inheritance" will also be premiered in that same broadcast. More details to come!

Next on crew bios! Braeden Nelson Co-Director... I am a Film & Broadcasting major, and this is the first feature film that I have worked on. I'm from San Antonio, Texas, and I enjoy creating content through film and music. I'm a cat person and prefer chocolate ice cream over vanilla ice cream. I am really excited for the finished film!

Meet the crew of Inheritance: My name is Holly Black and I love storytelling. The reason I like Film is because you can tell a story through every facet, whether that be the lights, music, pacing, color grading or even the colors in the costumes. When I’m not making movies, you can find me fighting in full steel armor with the Red Boar, living the adventure at a LARP, or napping in trees. Inheritance is important to me because during the writing process I was able to explore my own family dynamic, and through the directing process I was able to work with an amazing cast and crew that brought the story to life.

Yes, EU Films is back, and new films are coming. Covid has set us back a bit on our timing, but the film "Inheritance" is in post-production, thanks to Holly Black and others, though we don't have a date yet on its premiere. That will be announced here sometime soon. EU Films is also starting a new film project with a new staff. Auditions for that film will be coming soon as well. Thanks for your support of EU Films.
