It’s never too late to learn something new and never too early to begin teaching it! Before I started my private practice and providing therapy in middle schools, I was blessed to be a part of Wyman Center’s Teen Outreach Program, teaching these skills to middle schoolers in a classroom setting and watched them practice them in their daily, everyday lives. It’s truly necessary that society welcomes social-emotional learning as a fundamental skill set and it’s heart warming and magical to see children using these skills! I now teach and practice these skills with my clients and will continue to advocate to get these topics in schools curriculums!! Art credit to : @miss_mental0
