Last week I heard myself say to a friend, "know your worth" in regards to salary. This can also be said for yourself. Check in and evaluate your worth and don't let others dictate it for you.

Sometimes people use acceptance from others in order to feel ok about themselves. When someone does not offer that acceptance, it can make the person feel as if there is something wrong with them, they feel empty, they feel rejected, etc. This can often stem from negative beliefs about oneself that manifested from a young age.
