Thank you and a shout out to everyone that helped get thanksgiving meals out to our seniors today! Karen Cook and Candy Mann for cooking a delicious meal, Opalene Bullock Carol Ward for running the registration desk, and packaging the meals, Linda Pewitt and Tom Pewitt for assisting in the kitchen and helping serve, Cindy Youngblood Gastineau Erin Tucker and Blake for being curbside runners, Pam McCormack, Vickie Brawley, Debra Wrobleski, Carter Munson for delivering meals- ...It takes a village folks! For those who requested purchasing extra meals to eat later, I apologize that we could not accommodate your request - We were unsure on just how many meals would be needed since not everyone called in their order in advance and did not want to run out before the end of the lunch hour- also, being a nutrition center, unlike a restaurant, we have several guidelines/requirements we must follow. Each meal is required to be entered into the computer daily by the seniors name, unfortunately two meals can not be logged to one person on the same day. Thank you for your understanding.
