We have the opportunity to provide a week's worth of no-charge lunches and breakfasts (5 lunches and 5 breakfasts) per student for all students during our upcoming break. All 10 meals per student will be distributed between noon and 1pm on Tuesday, December 22 in the elementary parking lot. This is open to all enrolled students of the district at no charge. It will be a pickup similiar to this summer and no preregistration is required. Names will NOT be taken, just a count of meals distributed. Please use the survey below to indicate whether you are likely to take part in this opportunity. The survey is anonymous, we just need to get an idea of how many meals to prepare. https://forms.gle/x4KvFWo4WBV7r82RA

December 9, 2020 East Buchanan C-1 Parents/Guardians: Recently, we limited our capacity at our winter activities to 25 percent, based on the recommendation of the Clinton County Health Department. Due to increased cases in our area and strain on medical services, we are being asked to limit our attendance at events further. Based on new guidance, we will be allowing two spectators per participant. This is a reduction from the four spectators per participant that we were inten...ding to allow. This change, while frustrating for the many family and community members who want to cheer on the Bulldogs in person, will allow for us to continue to offer these opportunities for our students. More information will be sent out by the end of the week about how ticketing will work and how to view games via livestream. All districts in Clinton County (East Buchanan, Plattsburg, Lathrop, and Cameron) will be following the two spectator per participant rule. When traveling to other Clinton County districts, we will receive two tickets per participant to distribute. For away contests that occur in other counties, we will follow the guidelines that are in place at the location where we will be playing. Information about how many fans are allowed at an away contest and how tickets will be handled will be communicated for each location as soon as the information becomes available. Again, we appreciate the frustration this causes, and we look forward to a time when we can once again pack the house with the Bulldog Proud. Until then, we will work to keep our students participating in as many in-person opportunities we can, while allowing a safe number of spectators. Sincerely, Dr. John Newell Superintendent
