For immediate release.. On Sunday 01/31/2021 at approximately 16:24 hours a female came to the Police Department to report her vehicle being shot at. The suspect vehicle fled from the accident and crashed into an apartment at the 105/80 split. Officers located one male in the vehicle with what appeared to be a self inflected gun shot wound to the head. The male was flown to a medical facility and his condition is unknown at this time. Formal charges are expected.

Due to Covid , City of East Prairie Municipal Court has been canceled for Wednesday , December 2. Next court date will be January 6, 2021 2:00 pm

We will begin parking between 6 and 615. The entrance from first and Abner will remain blocked off. We ask that if you plan on parking on Abner come the way of Cutlip Street to make for one way entrance, which will help with traffic issues. Vehicles well be plotted side by side until Abner Street is completely full. If you don't want to park the grass area near the fence will be open if you would like to set chairs up and watch from the fence as there will be no through traffic. With limited seating inside. This is away to show the players we still support regardless of any limitations..
