Yes.... that does say Mope around & feel your feelings. ...right before Help your kid get ready for school. Morning me is usually on it *I’ve got a routine that really supports me & most days I’m up early with a happy heart in that flow.... But today.... I put that routine in the chuck it bucket (everything but the smoothie) and allowed the messy to just have some needed space this morning. THEN, I added it to my calendar so I could check it off - GENIUS ! Wow- feeling so accomplished now

Currently drinking Gas Station Cocoa with my girl It's a regular part of our Sunday together as we head home from the country. This would have been a BIG DEAL to me several years ago because I would have been really concerned about all the crappy ingredients. ... *I also would have felt super lethargic and pretty ‘blah’ after drinking it too. Sometimes Functional Medicine doctors only highlight plant based living and anti-inflammatory foods and I think that as a profession we often overlook one of the most critical components of wellness. Really what matters most about our food, is our relationship with it. Maybe you eat whatever the heck you want and consume food based on your cravings. or maybe you are the opposite and are vigilant to every macro that enters your mouth. One is live to eat. The other is eat to live. It's scientifically clear that people who live to eat are almost always perpetuating high levels of inflammation and cellular damage creating many of Americans top health concerns. but I have to shine a light that the eat to live mindset has barriers to health as well. There is something about food as humans that is at the center of community and connection which is an INTEGRAL piece to long term health and vitality. Sharing meals is a way that we do life together. It’s a human bonding experience. Ultimately, food is the same as any other relationship. We have boundaries with it and decide what we allow. If a food hurts us, then we make appropriate decisions moving forward. Hopefully you get to the place where you know your body’s food preferences because that is a game changer! & Once you know what foods make you feel amazing, sometimes life will offer you a version of gas station cocoa. Having you ask What’s more important here my food preference or the shared experience? There’s an internal check in that happens, feeling into what is right for you and your body at that moment. Not from rules But from relationship Because sometimes despite our ‘preferences’, choosing connection is what feels absolutely right. When you consume from that kind of knowing & alignment you’ve entered a whole new expression of wellness.

This rainbow on my office wall spoke to me this week. (I have an inner poet, artist, musician for those that don’t know me personally) It reminded me that just like pure white light is bent in this world and colors refract, as ‘we’ as a collective are bent, we can see such individual gifts and beauty. And it’s a wonderful thing isn’t it?! And if your goal is self appreciation and ego be the most vibrant damn color you want to be.... and if your goal is to be love and draw ou...r world up.... here’s a reminder that you are also part of the light As the light, We are ONE Abundant safety drawing in Our world creates a BEND in us We see more of our I AM Yet our very existence is WITH THEY are vibrant too And sometimes we forget That WE are the light
