Bargello class was fun. We got some cutting and sewing done along with a lot of talking.

What a great supplier I have. I ordered at noon on Monday and the pallet of fabric was delivered at 1:00 today. 16 new white on whites. Rocks and flowers, added some marbles and 30 batiks.

I finally ordered a few notions and some really cute inexpensive patterns. All of these patterns use the same log cabin ruler. I plan to do a class before Christmas for the Santa and one in January for the penguin. I think there are really cute wall hangings. What do you think?

Ok.....it's time to sign up for Bargello classes. The classes are 1 day classes. I will offer 4 different sessions on: Thursday, October 29th Saturday, November 7th Wednesday, November 11th (Veterans Day) and... Saturday, November 14th. If none of these dates work for you I can do individual classes at the same price. Just let me know when you want to schedule. Due to space limitations and the state of the world I would like to keep the classes below 6 people. The price for the all day class is $40.00. In addition to the class fee you will need purchase the pattern and fabric.. You can bring your lunch or we can order in something. Tea, Coffee, and Water will be provided. If you're lucky I might get snacks made......hopefully. You will need to decide if you want to make the wall hanging or the bed size quilt. The wall hanging measures 46" x 61". The bed size quilt pictured measures 85" X 120". ( I will have to add side borders to make it fit a Queen). Once you decide which version you want to make and commit to a day I will email you a supply list and cutting instructions. I know I will have forgotten something so watch for updates. What a nice day I had yesterday! Friends brought flowers and took me out for lunch and ice cream. I got a towel embroidered, a row on a quilt quilted and oh so very close on having my bargello sample finished. Once it’s finished I will schedule the classes.

I’m meeting with some ladies today so we will be taking an executive lunch. I’ll be out from 11:30 - 2:00 ish. Thursday morning is Work of Our Hands so I won’t be in the shop until noon.

This is what I finished this morning. Now on to the 50 3 yard pieces of 108 wide backing that came in yesterday. Pictures will follow later today.
