Dane Justice, Saxophone Performance and Entertainment

Hey guys! It’s been a fat minute, so here’s an update fresh off the stove: With lessons winding down for the school year and summer just around the corner, things are getting packed in quickly. As of tonight I accepted a position with Gekko, an up-and-coming funk/fusion band out of KC. Performing from Lawrence to Columbia (and undoubtedly much further in the near future), these guys GROOVE over a rock-inspired beat with a jazzy tonal concept. They have a quickly growing following, and the talent and passion are definitely there. Check out some of the work on their Facebook page! They can also be found on iTunes/Soundcloud/Spotify. Next show is Friday, April 6th, at the Jazzhaus of Lawrence. Also there will soon be a new group of my own on the block, but more on that later. Lots of stuff in the works...stay tuned!
