Missouri Democratic Party Chair Michael Butler released the f...ollowing statement: Josh Hawley aided and abetted an attack on our democracy and the U.S. Capitol. He does not deserve to be called a U.S. Senator. Since the attack, Hawley has accepted none of the responsibility that falls squarely at his, Ted Cruz, and Donald Trump’s feet. His stunt to benefit his own political ambitions ended in bloodshed and death, and that will forever stain his resume.
